What do I do if I think I am a bully?

   If you think you are a bully, then you first have to question yourself as to why you are acting like that. You need to ask yourself what is making you be mean to other people.

   Most of the time, people bully other people because they are not happy with their own life. If this is what is happening with you, you need to think about what is making you sad.

   Maybe you are not getting along with your parents or you are being bullied by someone you love.

   If nothing like that is going on than it is time to look at yourself and figure out why you enjoy being mean to others. Maybe it is a way for you to fit in with the cool crowd. Or maybe you are doing it for attention.

   Talk to a trusted adult or a health care provider about your feelings to help you sort them out. If you are being a bully, next time you feel angry try to put yourself in the other person’s shoes and think how it might feel and rather than acting like a bully, just walk away.
