Data from the National Youth Risk behavior survey reports that approximately 40% of high school students have used marijuana and ~25% of high school students have been offered, sold or given an illegal drug to someone on school grounds. Over the years these numbers are going down as teens realize how bad for you illegal drugs really are. So most teens in high school are not doing drugs. So if you are thinking about doing drugs, think again. Talk to a doctor, teacher, parent, friend or whoever you trust and talk to them about what you are thinking. Make sure that you don’t make the choice to do drugs. They can be very addictive and cause many health problems. They can also cause you to go to jail, lose friends, or get kicked out of school. It may seem too simple, but making the choice to say no is the best thing to do.
