As teenage girls grow-up they often have to make tough decisions. Help yourself make better choices by learning from these common teenage dilemmas and real life stories… What would you do?

GirlSmarts.org is a site by girls for girls to encourage smart decision making through life’s most critical moments – from sex and drinking, love and success…

Get Access To Critical Issues

Girl Smarts allows teens, parents and educators easy access to critical health-related issues that adolescent females may face in their day to day lives.

GirlSmarts.org is a site by girls for girls to encourage smart decision making through life’s most critical moments – from sex and drinking, to love and success. We encourage you to go through the scenarios and consider what you would do in each situation.

  • You can go through the cases alone of with your friends or family.
  • Feel free to talk to people you trust about the feelings that they invoke.
  • Take the quizzes, polls, and queries

We hope that any parent that navigates this site will encourage their teen to view these scenarios and use the information seen here to discuss these situations with their teens before your teen has to experience them.  Evidence shows that doing so will allow your child the tools to make better decisions if they do experience this this scenario later in life.

As an educator you are in a position to show your students these scenarios and then use the information as template for further discussion on this and other topics.   While there is no best way to use this website, we suggest that you have your students (and parents if you wish) discuss a few cases at a time.  Then after the assignment is done use the case as a forum to allow teens to express their feelings.  Use this discussion to solidify safe practices in your teen student’s minds.
